What do you need to buy before coronavirus outbreak?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) is telling Americans that they should be prepared for the possibility of a COVID-19 outbreak. Here are the items recommend to prepare:

1. Prepare 2-week’s food and water

Prepare food that have long life shelf ahead in case anything happen, also avoid not necessary grocery shopping when coronavirus outbreak kick in. For example:

  • Cases of Water
  • Rice and other grains
  • Pasta
  • Beans
  • Nuts and dried fruits
  • Can food
  • Frozen food that can store freezer for a long time, such as red meat, seafood, frozen fast food, etc.
  • Seasoning
  • Have enough pet food if you have pets at home

2. Prepare some prescription drugs in advance

Especially to patients with chronic diseases, family members should make sure those patients have enough medicines in case you can’t go out to refill those when serious COVID-19 outbreak kick in.

3. Prepare some common over-the-counter medicines
